What to expect on 

your first visit

We want every dental visit to Salgra Dental Group to be a great experience,  starting off course with your first one.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment and plan to spend between 60 – 90 minutes in our office. You will receive a comprehensive oral examination and digital x-rays to help your dentist assess your oral health condition. Your dentist will look for signs of: Tooth Decay, Bone Loss, Oral Cancer and Periodontal (Gum) Disease.

Oral Cancer Screening

An advanced oral cancer screening exam is an important part of the comprehensive oral evaluation. We use Vizilite , a non-invasive technology that improves your dentist’s ability to identify, evaluate and monitor abnormal areas not visible in a conventional exam. There is an extra charge for this screening which is covered by some insurance companies.

 Your Dental

Treatment Plan

At Salgra Dental Group one of our dentist will customize a personal treatment plan for you based on the clinical findings of your initial examination.

It will specify the type of cleaning and additional visits you need and include recommendations for home care products. Our Salgra Dental Group team will review your treatment plan options and begin treatment after obtaining your consent.

What to Bring

To save time, please bring with you: 

• Dental insurance card (If applicable)
• Photo ID card
• Completed new patient forms. (Provided at office. You may request to have a form sent to you via e-mail.)
  

Cancellation

Policy

We set aside dedicated time in our office for your dental appointment. If you find it necessary to cancel, please provide 24-hour advance notice.

Without proper notice, you may be charged a $25 fee which is subject to change without notice.
